The Walter Wright Foundation for Children, founded twenty-one years ago, provides children with a variety of educational and extracurricular programs.  These activities boost self-esteem, equip youths with positive study habits, and teach valuable life skills.

We have found that at-risk youths who are exposed to an environment that caters to them singularly, listens to them, offers positive reinforcement, and provides activities relevant to their interests are less likely to become involved or stay involved with at-risk behaviors.

We have held events that have fed and clothed thousands of children and their families in need.  Our programs were designed with this concept in mind--to make a positive impact in children's lives, which will put them on the road to a bright, positive future.  However, the need is far too great to handle alone.

Our long-term goal is to provide housing for the homeless and build schools to help those children who have social behavioral disorders that hinders their ability to keep up in a fast-pace school setting.  These children do not have to feel as though their lives are meaningless and that they have nothing positive to contribute.

Together we can make a difference.  Please get involved.  We need your help.
